Focus on CMS
CMS, also known as 'the machine healers', sets the perfect example of a local success story.
Located in Eastbourne for nearly 25 years, CMS currently installs, repairs and services over 600,000 mini-lab systems (photo-processing machines) every year with a team of 170 highly skilled, multi-disciplined field engineers who are on call 24/7 to ensure a rapid and efficient response to machine breakdowns.
The field force is supported by two operating facilities. CMS's head office in Hampden Park houses dedicated technical and customer support teams, helpline operatives, technical specialists trained to provide additional product specific knowledge, and the company's administration and HR team.
CMS's repair centre in Park View, Lottbridge Drove, offers an unparalleled repair service for an almost infinite range of machines and equipment, using cutting-edge testing and diagnostic systems.
Founded by Adrian Teulon, chief executive officer of CMS, the company prides itself on its customer-orientated and forward-thinking approach. Following its success in the imaging industry, CMS has diversified into a number of other markets and can now offer service solutions to the healthcare, ATM (cash machines) and NDT (non-destructive-testing) industries.
Jim Edgar, managing director of CMS, said, "CMS is once more delighted to be main sponsors of the Eastbourne Business Awards.
"As a local employer with a global vision, we are proud of our town, our employees and our contribution to helping other local businesses, and we are thrilled to continue our support of the Eastbourne Business Awards."
