BARCLAYS Bank commercial staff hosted a seminar recently for care home professionals.
Among those attending and speaking were local solicitors and accountants.
Steve Goss, healthcare specialist in the Sussex commercial bank team for Barclays said, "The care home sector is a driving force for the local economy in Sussex and we had a great turnout for the event.
"More than 60 people came along to network and to hear from experts how they can improve the efficiency and success of their companies."
In addition to Barclays commercial staff, delegates also heard from Paul Maynard of Gaby Hardwicke Solicitors, John Harrison of Christie & Co business agents, Geoff Slater of Watson Associates Accountants and Adrian Lotz from Barclays Capital.
Steve Goss added, "There was a very informed exchange of views and the strong message that companies were looking at expansion in the future rather than contraction."
