The Borough squad are down to the bare bones with five players signing duel contracts on transfer deadline day to bolster the squad.
But the 11-men picked to play against Bath City gave it their all for an entertaining goalless draw at Priory Lane.
It means that title rivals Lewes need just six points from their remaining four games to pick up automatic promotion to the Blue Square Premier.
Borough will look to have the majority of their squad fit for the play-off games, which look to be played against Newport County.
And with supporters player of the year Andy Atkin sitting out the remaining league games due to suspension, Wilson is hoping he'll be on form for the play-offs.
