DocumentaryBBC1's Inside Out programme is visiting Willingdon to make a documentary about Post Office closures.
The 10-minute documentary gives customers the opportunity to explain how difficult their journey to the nearest post office will be once Willingdon Post Office closes.
A former postmistress whose post office in Kent was closed will be involved with the filming and will join Willingdon residents when they travel to the closest post office.
The filming has been organised by resident Serena Thompson and will take place on Tuesday, March 18, at 10.30am, outside Willingdon Post Office.
Open ChurchEASTER Monday (March 24) will see the launch of a new initiative called Open Church at St Saviour and St Peter in South Street.
There will be a special Mass at 10.30am followed by refreshments in the hall.
Starting on that day the church will be open daily from 9am to welcome people for prayer, to light a candle or take time to marvel at the wonderful decorations contained in George E Street's architectural masterpiece.
Information will be available from volunteers and book and souvenir stall will be open from 10am to 3pm weekdays.
Coffee morningSOUTH STREET Free Church will be holding a coffee morning on Easter Saturday in aid of the Children in Sierra Leone group.
There will be a homemade cake stall at the event which is on from 10.30am to 12noon.
